There is something about the U.O. badging/look, that makes me go weak at the knees. Yum.

To many, the mention of green badged eyepieces, leads them to thoughts of TeleVue. Nah. I dreamily think of all the wonderful orthos, konigs and erfles I once had, from U.O.

Whoever gave the go ahead for smooth sided barrels, deserves a kiss. I dislike undercuts, despise tapered ones.

That factory in Japan must be really getting on song now - I guess we might see this design with further brandings in due course as well, in addition to Astro Hutech, Kasai, Fujiyama etc.

Personally I'd love to see a "volcano top" version with these optics in though - they fit the shape of my face better

Since the demise of the Konigs and classic orthos, UO have had some rather dodgy re-brands in their line up in my opinion. It will be a relief to many to see them carrying top class orthos again and for them not to sport the dreaded barrel undercut.
