Hi Kipstar

You don't need the lens at all - when you use the camera it will be at prime focus, so the telescope will act as the lens. You will need a 1.25" adapter to fit in the eyepiece holder which is readily available on the 'bay for a few quid. a simple eyepiece-cap will keep the dust out.

o thats ok then yer i flashed it with the updated frameware at got the 1.25" adapter but yer then losed the lens hahaha like you do i only ask becouse i know normaly you need the lens out to be able to focus but where im going to do the lx mod didnt know if it worked better with it but now i know thank you for your time and help

thanks mate do you know about the DG418 Analogue Switch

i live on the isle of wight good dark skys here but anyway can i use any 8 pin analogue switch or has it got to be a DJ418 i have lots of spare computer parts with lots of them on really wanted to start doing it to day so didnt want to wait for delivery maybe maplins have one i can use
