Stage 2 Etalon to focuser adaptor has now been completed (thanks lukebl for the idea), just need a SW diagonal and a BF10 and its all complete.

Hi can anyone confirm the thread size where the erf meets the black box

I believe it's a M33 x 0.75.....

Using Merlin's info on thread size from above I have threaded the original TAL diagonal and shortened it so that I now have a collimatable solar diagonal.

Not sure if it will make much difference but at least I will know its the best I can achieve.

BF10 incoming from US as well, lucky me.
