Saturn another from the 6th

Been trying to extract a little more detail from my images taken on the 6th, this image was the result of stacking far less frames than I usualy do, its a little noisy but shows some nice detail on the globe, probably my best effort this apparition! Thanks for looking!

Very nice Simon. Have you tried LRGB using R as L ?

Thanks Stuart its on my to do list but only have a small window of opportunity for a few runs from my location so I just used rgb, next time out if we ever get one lol, will give it ago.

You've got the data Simon. Simply use the red channel you have as luminance in de-rotation of RGB in winjupos.

Think I could live with noise levels like that ;) What a peach! That's certainly one of the best images of Saturn from UK skies, I've seen posted here for this aperture and year.
