Having just purchased above and with the benefit of a well secured solar filter had some limited sucess. But with the moon in hiding at the moment, I tried to observe and photograph the stars, to no avail.

Have I waisted my money or is there some magic solution out there, or some miraculous software that, will help catch those low visibility objects.?
