Got this done first thing this morning before I took some time to play with my newly-modded PST. Clear sky, fairly good seeing, nice easy shot

120 frames of 1/1000th @ ISO 100, 450D & 127 Mak, preprocessed with PIPP, 49 stacked using Registax v6.

Very nice one. I spotted that AR above the centre grow a lot more active in H-alpha in the course of the day.

Very nice surface detail, I guess that was the advantage of getting your capture in early. no sun here today and by the looks of we are the only place in England with cloud cover at the moment.
