Hi,

Not much to pick between the ones you are looking at. The Anatares Elites and the Parks Gold's are the same as the Orion Ultrascopics and closely related to Celestron Ultima's. All are out of production I believe now so you will need to find them on the used market. Tele Vue plossls are excellent and can be bought new or used of course.

In the past I've had a set which mixed a number of these and really enjoyed them

Assuming you are happy to stick to the standard 50 degree field of view they are around the best of their type.

You might want to keep an eye on the Canadian Astro Buy & Sell website:

are u sure the Antares/Gold parks are out of production because I have found 2 websites that still sell them(Lire la nature and Agena astro)?

Maybe not then. They used to be quite expensive when new but really good value to buy used.

I see the Parks website still lists the Gold series so I guess they are still available new.

I have often read about Park Gold are they available this side of the pond?

Alan

Theres a bunch of them on e.bay at the moment.

There used to be a UK dealer that handled Parks stuff but I'm not sure there is now.
