Dirt cheap PST mod pic

Just for fun, I modded a little Celestron Powerseeker 70mm f.10 scope I had knocking about. I don't use it for anything due to the terrible plastic focuser and awful distortion around the edges, but its f.10 so i thought what the heck. I threw out the focuser and made up an adapter out of old plastic pipe to hold a 2" extender. I pushed this into the scope tube and set it to hold the etalon at -200mm inside focus. Taped an ERF on the front of the hood and stuck the pst in the back end. I didn't bother to collimate it as I just wanted to see how it worked. The whole mod process only took just over an hour.

Anyway, here is the first light pic. Yes it is upside down.

Wow! excellent results for a hours worth of work but I guess you cheated as you had all the parts ready before hand
