When is the moon next in view

Hi all just wondering when we will be seeing the moon again?

The moon is currently visible in the mornings but is heading towards new moon on the 8th and won't be visible.

After then it will become visible as a very thin crescent in the evening sky.

Trying to spot the youngest moon is something of a sport with stargazers but as the days progress the moon will be more easily visible each successive night after new moon.

If you haven't already got it I'd recommend downloading "Stellarium" ( http://www.stellarium.org/ )

It's free and brilliant , lets you see what's where and when in the night sky from anywhere.

Perhaps "Mobile Observatory" is an other good choice.

Stellarium have now released an app for the Apple platform but not sure about android.
