Just a lovely clear late afternoon and evening up to a cloudy 10pm.

Viewing started off a bit wobbly then settled to give a really contrasty sharp terminator in the Vixen 90.

There was so much detail to the surface around Copernicus and more detail in the crater and to Reinhold and Lansberg. Later there was a long shadow in the Mare Imbrium from Monday La Hire.

The edges of the Montes Riphaeus were beautifully picked out. There were plenty of isolated bright peaks and rims along the terminator, changing over the few rare hours. Just need some more

clear skies,

Nick.
