Danny Thank you so much, that helps a lot, I'll try the program...here's an image from last night though, using a focal reducer/corrector, losing the star diagonal, maybe some luck, and a good seeing night maybe? Very pleased on the three week anniversary of my first telescope! Can't wait to try those programs and recommendations!

that's a fantastic image, very nice colour, nice 'n sharp - mine tend to come out a bit on the blue side, and yours looks to be nearer the true colour I think. With the reducer you will be trading off overall number of pixels on the planet and some detail to give you more light and thus lower noise. Looking at your pictureI think its helping the colour too
