The Sun on TV - Remote Observing

Not, not some cold war fringe science, But a final realisation of something a long time in the coming! A VIDEO (Watec) image from the observatory piped through 30m coax to my living room TV. Full remote telescope control coming very shortly (hopefully!). ;)

But, considering it's an ST102 with a slightly dodgy focusser, I am pleased with the result. Surprised how much a larger screen (I only have a cheapo 26" TESCO TV) makes. If you're planning to amaze your relatives and friends, think what a decent globular cluster image could look like on YOUR enormous 52" jobbie! :p
