AR1734 PST/Tal100rs

I thought I'd post a pic from the PST modded Tal. Its far from perfect, but deffinately has potential. Still waiting for the right focuser from borg, and trying to get an adapter custom made to connect the helical to the pst. Maybe then I can iron out the niggles and raise the performance a bit more.

Taken with a 2.5x Powermate and DMK41. Image stacked in AS!2 Looks a bit grainy, so I need to refine the PP.

Very nice. At 2.5m focal length, I would not be surprised to get some seeing interfering with image quality (despite stacking). Focusing might also be the problem. Always tricky.

I think you will need some very good seeing and then you will have a winner

I think your both right. Maybe 2.5x is a touch too much for comfort. Its surprising how much the image throbs on the screen. I'll look for a 1.5x for days when its average seeing.
