Whilst switching a few bits around last night I managed to knock my finder scope from the table to the floor. I can now align against multiple stars at once!!!

The electronics are fine, just the glass has gone. Anyone know if it would be possible to fix/get spares?

I was sad/annoyed with myself when it happened, although now it all seems pretty minor compared to the ebay item with the upset teddy.

you can buy sheets of perspex very cheaply on ebay. 100x100mm x 3mm thick for a couple of quid.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll give them a try out - it seems a shame to chuck something out that is mostly working.

Even if you replace it completely I'd not throw it out. It still might be salvageable as a solar finder or something. And if you don't want it stick it in the classifieds for a beer voucher or something. Someone else might be able to make use of it.
