First M42 this year

Its finally come out of hiding from behind a massive beech tree.

Taken at prime focus with the 350d - only 5 subs of 60 seconds @ ISO 400.

Quite happy with this one but always hopeful for a better one in the next couple of months as Orion climbs away from Poole's distant light glow.
