I was showing my wife Saturn the other night when we noticed a small pinprick of light moving across the sky , we assumed it was a satellite but when we looked it up it turned out to be a Russian rocket body left over from 1990 . cool

There is so much stuff up there now. I wonder how the ISS avoids it. Maybe it is such a big area that collisions are highly unlikely.

They do have to occasionally alter the ISS's orbit to avoid collisions, not by much I don't think but it's becoming more of a problem as time goes by.
