Pretty grim here in the UK too. Has been raining here (Warks) all afternoon and set cloudy for the rest of the night. Ho hum.

Just looked outside. Complete cloud and rain in Notts, but it is warner, just touching 50F. Hope someone somewhere sees the aurora.

I have a really low chance of seeing one from here even if the conditions were perfect. As it stands, it will be impossible to see anything, its been raining all day, and it doesnt look like it will be stopping soon I hope other areas have more luck than us down south

Our solar flux detection equipment indicated a low chance of an aurora, academic as it happened due to heavy overcast sky.
