Observing Sites in Pembrokeshire

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm going on holiday to Pembrokeshire in a couple of weeks and, assuming that the weather isn't completely foul, am taking my telescope. Does anyone have any recommendations of good observing sites in the area, preferably close to the village of Trefin where we're going to be staying?

Cheers,

DD

Probably where you are staying will be quite good. I went camping at Marloes years ago and that was nice & dark. Having looked again at Google Maps anywhere near St Gowans Head should be the best area with a view south over open sea.

I notice there is a campsite there- Trefalen Farm
