My solar Saturday 6/04/13

Lots a great viewing Saturday, but with plenty of trials and tribulations. Still I did manage to get a couple of pics to show. Still trying to get the hang of ccd imaging and doing a bit of colouring in.

This is one with the DMK41 LS60T ha.

And with the1100D at prime focus, LS60T ha.

Super close up with fabulous fine detail the full disc looks a little washed out in the middle? I'm not sure whether that was over exposure?

Thank Alexandra, you're too kind. The full disc was 5 stacked images from the 1100D. I just wanted to do a comparison with the DMK. I'm sure I can do better with the 1100D with a bit of practice. It does lack the detail of the closeup and I may have pushed the processing a bit too far.
