....and yet another Leo Triplet and SN!

Here's the Leo Triplet of Galaxies - M65, M66 and NGC3628. They are estimated to be 35 million light years away and possibly part of a much larger group of galaxies. Supernova (SN 2013am) was discovered there a couple of weeks ago (marked by arrow!). It has been classified as a young type II supernova. This is only 1.5 hours of data in 5 minute subs with an Atik 460 colour camera on a WO 123mm refractor, 0.8 FR, IDAS filter. Captured in Maxim, stacked in DSS and processed in CS2. I'm hoping to add more data over the coming weeks weather permitting, hopefully including luminance and Ha from a mono camera.
