Digital Setting Circles

Probably a bit bonkers in thinking this but does anybody know if you can make these digital setting circles for equatorial mounts?

I lost the vernier scale for the r.a & would like a way to make this more accurate if possible.

What equatorial mount do you have?

DSC are encoder based systems. Unless you are really good at electronics, I wouldn't bother with making one yourself. DSC technology became obsolete when cheap GOTO became available.

The setting circles on most mass production EQ mounts are nothing more than decoration. It's easier to star hop than using the SC on an EQ5.
