A Pair of Nice Bright Targets (Blue Snowball and Saturn Nebula)

I've posted these two in the past. But, wanted to show some of the newer members a couple of small but bright targets to try. These are both available now and in good positons. I took both with the LX-90 @f6.3 and the Canon XT - ISO 800.

Go get them.

Good stuff Doug. Must remember to point the Tal at these using the Atik 16HR. It looks like I can fake the colour later.

Great images! Definitely going to give these a go, probably have to go through a barlow to get a reasonable scale though with the 350D

Grant, you should have no troubles capturing these at f10 or higher. I actually had to enlarge these after processing. I only used f6.3 for the quick subs of 15 sec. or so. It won't take too many of these to stack.

A couple of excellent shots there Doug.

I've looked at these a couple of times with the C8 and visually they are both certainly small, blue and fairly bright. Must have a go with the Atik 16iC soon.

I like those Doug. Despite them being so small you've picked out some detail. Guess you need pretty good seeing
