Doubt it, not if the offering at rivals Aldi a few weeks ago is anything to go by.

I seem to recall a similar Meade deal being offered in Ireland a few years ago. From what I remember, the scope was okay, but the drives were knack*. There was some debate on the web site of the Irish Astronomical Society (or whatever) at the time.
