SW Refractor Crayford Focuser Owners - Little help please !

Hi All

On the 2" eye piece adaptor there is a grub screw, I’ve manage to miss lay this could someone kindly measure this so I can find a replacement.

There may be different threads on my focusers. Why not try contacting FLO and asking for a new one, they can't cost the earth surely.

Give them a ring.

Next question though ! Shouldnt the the 2" eye peice holder unscrew from the focuser tube

Im sure it will but you would have to check - mine isnt possible to machine in one piece and i cant imagine why on earth it would be a press fit.

I have the steeltrack for an SCT and it is completely different to yours - so you best check

Be careful with youR " bag of different sizes" you can mess the threads up inside the unit very easily. dont force any in.

No I think the whole thing comes out, but why would you want it to, I have a SW 190mm scope and I think the focusers are much the same, the 2 inch part slides in and out of the tube as you turn the focus wheels.

If it works leave it alone unless you know what you are doing, it will suprise you how often this is true, along with don't clean things that are not dirty.

ok, just the stock focuser with sw 80ed had a male thread which you could interchange adaptors etc.
