Hey George I can give you the weather forecast for the following week. Clear sunny spells through out the day and then as soon as it starts getting dark, thick unrelenting cloud with outbursts of rain / snow with gale force winds, clearing at day break, or at least that's what I've been getting for the last 12 months....

Well the Dark Sky bit is on at present.

There has been extensive rain,

Quite a bit of fog,

They have had to push a car as it couldn't get a grip in the mud.

So they have erected a portable planetarium in a barn so they can show a representation of the sky.

Seems pretty typical astro watching conditions. :grin:

I saw it. The weather was typically awful. Cue several shots of astronomers setting up telescopes in vain.

Nice of Julia to fit in the Pollux pun.
