EQ5 mount, it was fine first time out as I set it up in daylight, second time I put the scope on the wrong way round in the dark. Works well when set up right though, well worth the effort.

New to this myself, got mine just after christmas and seem to have suffered from clouds ever since! Keep meaning to try the Shropshire Astro group myself, but if anyone wants to meet up more regular than every fortnight I could be interested.

Well the clouds have finally cleared here and I've got everything set up.

Unfortunately, the coppice next to my house is currently getting a haircut and I'm surrounded by logging machinery and the garden is lit up like a stadium. I'm not happy to say the least. They've been known to go on until 11pm-ish.
