Eyepiece Recomendation

Hi Mick, when you say 'upgrade' I assume you mean 2" ep's for wide or rich-field studies, if this is the case then I can recommend the SW PanaView 70 degree ep's, either the 26mm or the 32mm. You will still need 1.25" ep's for planetary and double stars etc, so don't look at 2" ep's as an exchange, like for like, you will use different ep's for different targets so it's good to have both 2" and 1.25" in your armoury. If you want to spend a bit more then I would recommend looking at 82 degree ep's, and at the moment Explore Scientific are in vogue, cracking ep's I have to say and well worth exploring.

Hi Robin.

Thanks for the correction,i did think i would benifit from upgrading to 2 inch rather than 1.25.

I have a set of Ortho,s but the field of view is so small, its fairly uncomfortable.

My main interest is Double Stars, and i would also like 1 wide field eyepiece.

So i would benifit from just getting 1.25 eyepieces with a wider field of view?

Mick.
