On a driven mount?

The reason that's a question is the 82' ES will give a wider apparent field of view which means as the target rotates through the view of an undriven scope you dont need to move the scope to keep it in view. Premium eyepieces perform well edge to edge.

I'd go for the ES everytime unless you like the idea of having TeleVue products.

the TV plossl 11mm is a best in class when compared a few years ago to over a dozen eyepieces of the same FL in an issue of Sky and Telescope. I would like to get this eyepiece for the same reason. Barlowing for planets.
