Essence of NGC-891 Galaxy

I'm reluctant to post this weak & noisy image. But this is my first go at this one and I'm surprised to capture something. It needs much more time. This was taken with the LX-90 and Canon XT @6.3. It's a composite of 75 @25 sec. - ISO 800. I'll attempt it again soon if I can.

It is Fine Doug. This image to me depicts what deep space consists of. Vast Islands of stars in an even vaster environment.

It's a great picture mate.

Neither weak nor noisy, I am glad you posted it or we would have missed out on a treat! These edge-ons are not that easy to capture but you have done just fine.

An excellent image , you have captured some good detail.

Its not an easy object for the DSLR's because it appears fairly small in the image frame.
