xbox 360 webcam re-cased

thought i'd put this up here on it's own thread there is a bit in the astro lounge but riding off someone elses thread..

i thought i'd see if i could rehouse the xbox camera in a better looking case and make it look more like the expensive imaging cameras.

after buying the webcam , nose cone adapter ,i.r. cut out filter and i.p. rated black box it comes to about £30 give or take a tube of silicone or araldite ,but you might have somehting kicking about..

mine isn't finished just yet as i haven't at the moment got any silicone kicking about but i've packed the box out with high density foam to hold the inner webcam in position for now..

as it goes these two are the most expensive part of the mod, the xbox cam is about £3 and the box is about £4

you can get them on ebay , they are just small i.p. rated boxes choose your size maplin do them as well..
