I recently was looking for a good barlow for my 200mm F6 dob also.

There was a recent review of the baader 2.25x on here.

Baader Q-Turret 2.25x Barlow - Discussions - Eyepieces - Stargazers Lounge

I have just bought one of these but the clouds are persistant, and i have not had the

chance to test it out myself.

Scope n skies recomended the AC730 to me £49.00

Barlow lenses and focal reducer lenses

The baader is £45.00

The antares 1.6x gets rave reviews from people that have them.

That costs £22.49.

All these barlows are 1.25 thread.

Do you have one ? do you think it would work well with celestron xcel lx eyepieces and skywatcher standard ones ?

I can't see why it wouldn't, though I only tend to use barlows for imaging.

I've always been under the impression that the one you get with the scopes is the delux achromatic one. Not all scopes come with a barlow which is why FLO sells that one I believe. If you got one with a skywatcher scope then you have the one you've been looking at.
