Power supply - my DIY effort

After reading a lot of views and looking at a number of solutions I decided to try and build my own supply. I've included a picture of my effort... simple, portable and functional.

I am using a spare car battery but have tried to make the other parts as transferable as possible for when I get enough money to buy a leisure battery.

I don't remember all the member names I took info and advice from but I thank them all.

Looks good - but may I suggest you cover those battery terminals please - one bit of metal between them and there will be a very loud bang!! And potential injury to anyone touching them.
