Rosette nebula HA canon 500d

The scope was a ED80,Mounted on a EQ6, Guided with a QHY5, Canon 500d full spectrum mod,filter astronomik HA 12nm filter

Subs 6 x 10 min at ISO 1600 stacked and processed in PS5.

I would of liked to got a lot more subs for this so i could pull a lot more detail out of this and kept the noise down, but the fog rolled in closing my night up good old British weather :(

That's an impressive image for 1 hour's worth of data - it may even take a little more sharpening to bring out the cusps a tad more, maybe try & see if it adds anything or not. The Rosette is an excellent narrowband target so I'd encourage you also to try & get some OIII & SII data as well if possible. The colours even with a HA/OIII combination can look very nice. Well done though on a very nice image.

Thanks martin i did this with a dslr and unfortunately i do not have Olll and Sll filters :(
