We had company last night, and they didn't leave until midnight, but as they were leaving, I looked up and its was as 'clear a gin', so I couldn't bear to 'look a gift horse in the mouth'

Was not at my best, as I was was quite tired, and suitably relaxed by a couple of ample Whiskeys that I'd enjoyed, but out to the obsy I went.

Orion was 'climbing' nicely, so I thought I'd have a go at getting close in to the 'Running Man' (NGC1977).

Set the 'gear' up to capture 20x240sec subs, but by the time it had captured ten, I was 'nodding off'. Very easy to do in the comfort of a 'warm-room', especially after a 'wee dram' or two . So, thought I'd better 'pack it in', before I awoke to find that I was imaging the daylight sky

So, only half the number of subs intended, but not too bad considering.

12" LX200R - f/6.3 FR - SXVF-H9C and 10x240 sec subs.

Dave
