SH2-235 in Ha

The bright moon and High mist made for a challenging night.

The moon should have been my target of choice but Breaking down my DSO imaging train and the need for new flats there after didn't appeal given that the mist could thicken at any time and put pay to any Luna imaging as well.

So rather than call it a bust I decided to point the scope away from the moon and shoot a Ha target.

I stumbled across this and set some 1200 second subs runing.

The result is hampered by the mist killing the faint outer detail but its better than no image at all.

12 @ 1200 seconds through my 10" newt and HX916 CCD and Ha filter.

Mike.
