After Jupiter last night thought id have ago at the moon, quite a novice to this lunar imaging but pleased the way this one came out!

That is very nice! I love those sorts of shots with the shadow detail. Makes you feel like you could go there and walk along the crater floor.

It was lovely and clear here last night, but in typical fashion it was a night where we go out early so only managed a half dozen or so shots of the moon with my DSLR and modified 500mm mirror lens.

Really good. The seeing must have been good to go to f30 and get that level of detail. You are easily showing some of the smaller craterlets.
