Treeden
No joy for me either. I've been really patient tonight too, waiting for the clouds to roll past, but no sign of the beastie! Not to worry, had a good look at Orion while I was waiting. That always cheers me up!

Treeden
Me too! especially the great nebula in orion.Yes indeed. I was fortunate to have a good break in the clouds and it was clear with hardly any LP. It was looking very nice tonight. Worth going out.

Hermit
Clear here in Manchester for once. Eventually found it just before 9pm. Followed it in my 5" dob for around 15 mins then it was becoming too faint under my light-polluted skies. Was moving slowly in the eyepiece but its motion was very noticeable when it was 'close' to a background star. Very chuffed!
