I think my count will be a big fat zero, due to wall to wall cloud, sleet and snow.

Well I can definitely see 5 ... possibly 6. Oh dear, I didn't think it was that bad round here. In my skies defense though, The Moon is out and I have seen the stars a little clearer in that area before. Still ... I'd be interested to go to a dark site now.

well not good about 8 because of where orion sat in the sky bang on top of purley way so much light poluction

Tonight, with the moon and all the LP, I can see a grand total of none. Yup, that's right... Big fat zero! In fact, I could barely see Orion's sword at all... Stood out for 10 mins before I could even make that out! The belt was very visible, as was Betelgeuse and Rigel.

pretty abysmal in bedfordshire as well, you wait nearly a month for a clearish sky and it is woefull. Orion's main 7 stars were about all that was visible, left me feeling slightly fed up

yep it sucks!!! im away on holiday at the mo, at a lovely dark spot!" but the moon is out all week and just is washing out everything! i saw 1 last night because of the moon

I hope I'm right in thinking that the 3 belt stars are to be counted and it's just the four outer stars which are not included.

I got a rubbish result from where I'm located at the moment too. Lp is bad here' combined with the moonlight.
