Alignment problems

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I got my telescope at Christmas, and I've managed to align it in the past perfectly, but since I tried to get it to track the alignment hasn't been working at all. For example I went out tonight as I've got perfect skies (08.02.2013), when I went to do the normal 2 star alignment it gave me a list of stars, all but 2 were not even above the horizon, I found one of the stars that was above the horizon aligned it then chose the other that was above the horizon but it moved the opposite direction and moved to point straight up. I decided to try the brightest star alignment and again all stars it suggested were below the horizon, it even suggested Saturn, I have no ideas what's going wrong, I've put the information for time date and long and latitude like I always have and still it's not doing it right, can anyone please help me!? if it helps the telescope I have is Skymax 127 SynScan AZ GOTO Telescope

Regards

Chris
