AZ4 and 150mm ST refractor.

Do you think the AZ4 mount could hand the 150mm ST refractor for low to medium magnification?

I've used my ED120 on my AZ-4 (steel tripod legs) and it's OK for low to medium power and even short bursts up to 150x or so. The vibrations do take some time to settle though.

The 150mm F/5 refractors are around the same weight and length as the ED120 I believe although they are more front heavy due to the larger objective lens so you would need to get the balance right and probably have the scope set well back in it's tube rings.

I suspect this is one where some will say it's possible and some would be against though.

Yeh I bet, just looks a beast for low to medium work!
