MikeD Posted February 8, 2013 Author Share Posted February 8, 2013 Thank you.subs years apart! any technique to setting up getting the same position from year to year? again lovely detail mateI always try set my imaging train so north is up which helps.To fine tune position/rotation I use two instances of "Al's reticule" to mark two field stars in the older data ( see image below) and match the new fov with those stars.Al's reticule always stays on top of any program on the screen so when I take a new test frame I can see where the marked field stars should be on the new test image.Hope that makes scene.Mike.
