strange object in sky during long exposure

alright folks, still dont have a telescope yet. only just got a new tripod sorted so i thought id have another go at some long exposures

took a bunch of photos looking up at the sky this morning (7th feb) in west yorkshire. this was the only image that came back with this weird mark on.

so just wondering if anyone can shed some light to what it might actually be. nice one

How long was the exposure? And what was the focal length of the lens?

It looks like it is in Gemini so you can maybe have a guess at which way it is going which may help along with website that detail visible satellites.

From the length and brightness, I would say it's a meteor.

Or it could be a Cessna towing a banner... ;-)

Yep, I vote Iridium flare too, I've seen a few of them recently, they make an interesting sight to see, as well as the standard coomunication sats.
