Birmingham - Best Sites?

Hi all,

I've just got into stargazing and got a scope. So far my sessions have been limited to a quick hour in the garden which has been quite good considering I live in pretty central Birmingham. I'm keen to get somewhere fairly local though where I don't have to contend with my neighbours security light constantly blasting my face so was wondering if anyone has any ideas of good places?

I was thinking maybe Clent Hills or Lickey Hills?

Any input would be appreciated!

Tbh there isn't many "good" sites in Birmingham due to high Lp but there are a few low low areas on the outskirts like canwell hall and hint

Where exactly are you? I live it solihull and there's a few areas within 10-15 mins that are pretty good.

I'm a member of KAS and it would interesting to know a few options for a group visit
