Yes yes, another first m42. The image is made up from only 8 light shots, 20 seconds iso 800 and 4 darks. The first image with my scope aligned. I tried not to Photoshop the whole thing, although this was tough, with it being my job

I know what you mean! But I/we all have to remember that that kind of mind blowing AP takes money.....A LOT of money lol. I'm going to attempt a wide field of view shot of orion with M42 soon then try out DSS for the first time so will be a totally different shot to yours but i think I will love having a crack at it all the same.

Everyone should be proud of what they produce and not compare they're own work to someone elses!
