Narrowband

ceemax eye pieces and barlow

The reviews I have read generally say that they are no improvement over good standard eps. I normally use a Televue 11mm Plossl, or a 9mm BGO if seeing is very good. Both give excellent views although the 11mm is normally just the correct magnification for most conditions.

Seems like an age since I used mine :-(

If you have TV Plossls why bother with the Cemax? Don't forget solar scopes like the PST and Lunt LS35 are generally very easy on the eyepiece. First of all they are slow (F/10 or slower), and secondly they need no correction for chromatic aberration at all (0.07 nm bandpass). I just use my regular EPs (Pentax XF8.5 mainly).
