Fantastic image.

Very impressive. Was ISO 1600 not a bit high?

Looking at the result I don't think it is. Camera ISO is improving all the time.

I found ISO 1600 about best on my 1100Ds

ISO1600 works for me too - you get more noise but can shoot more subs, which reduces the noise.

Just bought an AstroTrac and your image has certainly provided inspiration. Hope I can get to the same level of detail with my attempts!

Did you shoot raw or jpeg btw?

You ort to print it out and frame it.

You should always shoot RAW teal when doing astro. I always still shoot RAW when doing non-astro too.

Great result. I just recieved my AT a few days ago. Cant wait to start imaging once the Moon has gone.

amazing image, detail is ace. It looks upside down when in reality Im used to viewing it upside down lol... great image
