Good quality uhc filter

Can anyone recommend a good quality UHC filter from personal experience? I've looked at castell, astronomik, sky watcher and not sire which will be the best.

I've used Skywatcher and Castell out of the those 3 and I'd rate the skywatcher as better of those 2 to be honest.

Given the price I'd obviously expect the astronomik to be the best one, but at a substantial price.

+1 for the Sky Watcher UHC filter, a great filter and hard to beat in my opinion.

I bought the Castell filter after reading a lot of reviews on it,can't comment on how well it compares to the SW one though

It didn't make the stars split into 2 at the edges.

In the middle there was nothing in it but the skywatcher had an obvious advantage off axis

I don't have anything to compare it against but I find it picks out detail that i don't see if I remove it(not very helpful I know!)

I have the Astronomik UHC and it is very nice but I have never compared to the SkyWatcher equivalent. I have the SkyWatcher Oiii and it is great, so I would have no doubt that their UHC will be same.
