Skywatcher 9*50 to 1.25 eyepiece

Recommended Posts

I have tried to obtain a "big-eye Scopeteknix " 9*50 finderscope with 1.25 eyepiece socket, but i am having no success. Does anybody know of an adapter that will convert the Skywatcher 9*50

finderscope to allow it to accept either 1.25 eyepieces and or a webcam which has been converted into a 1.25 adapter.

Hopefully

Les

The Modern Astronomy finder / guider adapter will allow you to convert the 9x50 rear to T-thread, and T thread focuser will allow you to attach 1.25" eyepiece.

HOWEVER, I don't know if this will reach focus, probably not.

I think your best bet for a 1.25" compatible finder is a Celestron Travel Scope 70 mounted on a set of guide scope rings.

This combo is cheaper than the Altair 60mm finder and the miniborg 50, both of which can support 1.25" accessories
