my first comet image

c/2012 k5 20x50sec at iso3200 taken with a canon 1100d and skywatcher 130pds on eq3-2. processed using deepskystacker and gimp. had a few problems getting it to stack ended up stacking the stars and comet seperately and combining with gimp.

Looks good. Was this taken yesterday evening? It's just that I saw a 'fireball' last night at about 16:45 that was amazingly bright! My first ever view of a fireball. Really good capture by the way!

Well done, on of my first image's was comet lulin, it is agood catch to get one. and a good image too is even better.

Not got ths one as had a break from the hobby for a couple of months as i was near to quitting due to lack of time and weather, so going to do this tommorow.

Comets are usually a bit greenish, so probably not the processing...
