If you want a good starter scope big enough to be useful small enough to be transportable and relatively cheap. get the 150p dobsonion no electronics, good optics. there is no point buying an eq mount imho unless you want to image and if you want to image don't waste your money buying the eq5 when you need the heq5

If you do decide to get into imaging after. the 150 is a good little thing to play with while you are waiting for the subs to come in.
